In tertiary institutions, the usage of smartphones has become one of the most intriguing learning tools for improved teaching, research, and learning. The usage of this tool has enhanced the capacity of lecturers to be more flexible in the delivery of lectures. It also provides students with access to online learning resources, course platforms, and the ability to engage in digital interactions.

The present paper investigates the ideological manipulation that creeps in translated news headlines and falsifies the produced translated version since such process involves both the imposition of dominant ideologies and the negative portrayals of the other in mediated news. Thus, international news translation basically exploits and manipulates the original news events in such a way that misrepresents the image of otherness and creates a positive representation of patrons. In this vein, this paper brings to the fore the influence of extra-textual factors on the translation of headlines. Many strategies and translation techniques are utilized and translators do intervene to align produced headlines with the two networks’ ideological affiliations and editorial policies. The present paper adopts descriptive approach where I attempted to compare translated news headlines and pinpoint the alterations and transformations undertaken over them, also it aims to call for rethinking strategies undertaken while translating global news in a cosmopolitan context where openness to the other and appreciation of difference are conducive to an effective cross cultural and linguistic interactions. Accordingly, it proposes foreignizing approach to global news translation because it retains the image of otherness which is essential in the original event.

Indonesia is a country rich in natural resources, both on land and throughout the waters of the archipelago. The rights of the Indonesian people contain 2 (two) elements, namely the element of ownership and the element of the task of authority to regulate and lead the control and use of the joint land it owns, the authority to regulate the control of the use of the joint land is delegated to the State. To regulate the rights of the Indonesian nation as the highest right holder, it is authorized to the State of the Republic of Indonesia which is the powerful organization of the entire people. However, it should be understood that there are still many problems faced in land management, especially mining areas that intersect with forestry and plantations. The purpose of this study is to observe and evaluate the weaknesses in land management which result in overlapping land in the mining area. The method used in this research is Mixed Methods. The strategy in this study uses the Concurrent Embedded Strategy method. The use of Concurrent Embedded Strategy in research will be implemented in the form of qualitative and quantitative data collection at the same time. The reality that will be examined in this research is the coordination of overcoming overlapping land at 47 IUP OP locations in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, in terms of the factors that influence the success of coordination. The lack of coordination in overcoming overlapping land is dominantly caused by the behavior of the apparatus which is formed by the dimensions and indicators of its formation, namely the mandate and the system. Agencies that issue land use permits only have land-use data within their jurisdiction, this is due to the absence of a centralized integrated land data system that can be accessed by all agencies and stakeholders.

The article considers a possible public administration performance measurement regarding to political organization situation in Croatia. The first performance measurement problem comes from multilevel responsibility and co-production implementations. Second comes with emergence of multilevel products origin. Thirdly, state is very open and integrated in the EU and globalization influence. Therefore, it is crucially important to identify products and the evaluation indicators of the public administration, according with the public goals and social values. The article considers the performance measurement and management methodological at an organizational frame and it also considers the social values influence on a methodology and the role of the public administration in fulfilment of the public policy. Finally, effective organization possible could be built and improved by measuring effectiveness. The paper has tried to show the public service complexity work and the purpose, but first of all the importance public administration for achieving public goals.

Background: The present study investigated the quality of life of 100 mothers of children with intellectual disability in selected special schools of Kottayam district, Kerala. Materials & methods: A descriptive survey was conducted among 100 mothers of children attending special schools of Kottayam district from February 2020 to September 2020. The Quality of Life was measured by using WHO QOL Malayalam questionnaire, after obtaining Institutional Ethics Committee Approval and after seeking informed consent from the participants. . The purpose of the study was explained, socio demographic data collected by interview and the data recorded. The mothers filled up the instrument and returned back to the investigator. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviations and appropriate parametric test such as independent t test for parametric data. Results: Out of the 100 mothers studied, educational status of the mothers showed that 10 had primary education, 37 had high school education, 32 had higher secondary education and 21 graduates.; occupation of the mothers showed that , 18(18%) had Government job, 20 (20% ) had private job ,15(15%) were self employed and 47 (47%) were not employed. It was found that 95(95%) of children obtained financial assistance and other benefits from local self governing bodies. The Overall quality of life scores of mothers and financial assistance obtained from the local self governing bodies was studied .The overall QOL scores of mothers is influenced by the financial assistance obtained from local self governing bodies.(P=0.01, t= 2.51). The Overall QOL Score ranged from 2 to 130 with a mean of 69.93 and Standard Deviation of 20.13 Results shows that the highest mean value was obtained for Psychological Domain with a standard Deviation of 19.85 , the lowest mean value was obtained for social relationships domain with a mean value of 39.55 and a standard deviation of 26.30.

The Covid 19 pandemic has changed the order of Indonesian society and even the world; to prevent the spread of this virus, a new lifestyle or "New normal is implemented, in which people can still do activities outside the home while adhering to health protocols. As a result of the economic sectors pandemic condition, the rupiah exchange rate against the dollar fell, as did inflation and interest rate values. The goal of this research is to determine the impact of the Rupiah exchange rate, inflation, and interest rates during the New Normal Period. The New Normal period, as we know, begins in early June 2020, so researchers plan to collect data from June 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021. The information used is skunder data. This study used saturated sampling or a census sample, which is a technique for determining samples where all members of the population are used as samples. The research method used is quantitative research. The test is a multiple linear regression analysis that begins with a traditional assumption test that includes a normality test and a multicollinearity test. The findings revealed that during the New Normal period, the rupiah/dollar exchange rate had a positive and significant effect on SBI interest rates. During the New Normal period, inflation has a positive and significant impact on SBI interest rates. During the New Normal, the Exchange/Dollar Rate and the Inflation Rate both have a positive effect on the SBI Interest Rate.

This article is a summary of research on social exchange between Candidate Village Heads and voters in Tuban Regency, East Java. Village democracy is considered a genuine democracy that can be used as an orientation in the development of modern democracy at the national level, with characteristics such as deliberation, village meetings and village head elections by the people in the village, from the candidates they propose themselves. Thus, the village has been officially recognized as a democratic entity that has autonomous power in administering its government independently in accordance with the wishes and needs formulated by its own citizens. Based on the description of the research background above, the problems that become the focus of this research are formulated as follows: (1) What is the type of social exchange that occurs between candidates and voters in the 2019 Sumberarum Village Head Election? (2) What elements form the social exchange between candidates and voters in the 2019 Sumberarum Village Head Election? (3) How did the candidate take advantage of the social exchange arena to win the 2019 Sumberaum Village Head Election? Medical welfare are services provided to people with little or no fee, for the sake of a standardised health care for the general public. There are many methods are being implemented to achieve the goal of health welfare in Vietnam. These methods are being adopted simultaneously, including: (i) Investing in input resources to reduce costs; (ii) Incorporating public health services that are not provided by the private sector; (iii) providing support with health insurance and medical assistance. Healthcare welfare policies have exerted their effects on developing the national healthcare system. But, which require new modification and rectification for the sake of remarkable achievements in the future.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, educational practices have been disrupted in a variety of ways affecting both students and teachers. Ample evidence among many others is the fact that students are required to switch their platforms of learning, from on-site to online learning. Research conveys that this alteration has significantly affected students in various aspects such as places to study, time management, and their health. This study therefore aims to identify problems that come from online learning encountered by students themselves through the means of survey. Thus, we had collected data from 171 high school students and school leavers, in 4 categories: 1) the level of stress, 2) the level of loneliness, 3) the level of motivation, 4) the average sleep hour during the online learning period, using an online survey. The results show that there are correlations as follows, 1) positive correlation between stress and loneliness, 2) negative correlation between stress and sleep hour, and 3) negative correlation between motivation and loneliness. Screen time affects stress levels which in turn increase the loneliness of students and decrease sleep hours. This study raises concerns to educators, teachers, and parents that their children need to be understood, and appropriate support can help them overcome challenges during this difficult time.

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused several changes in the human state of mind, in particular adapting to the culture of the new normal while lockdown measures are implemented. This study explored the effect of the lockdown measure on the level of anxiety of high school students, comparing those identified as introverts and extroverts. Participants (N = 103) filled out the given survey, which determined that they were both introverts or extroverts and the level of anxiety that they had before, during, and after the lockdown caused by the pandemic. According to statistical analysis, the result showed that the level of anxiety perceived by those feeling the sense of extroversion was statistically higher than those with introversion, at the significance level of 95%. In addition, the analysis revealed that there was no correlation between extroverts and anxiety before, during, and after the lockdown measures. On the other hand, there were statistical correlations between the level of introversion and the level of anxiety in every stage of lockdown: before, during and after, indicating that the lockdowns due to the global pandemic did not affect extroverted people anxiety as much as it affected introverts. Moreover, it also showed that the level of anxiety of the introverts has become even more intensified even after the lockdown.

The present work aims to analyze the restaurant market in the commercial center of the city of Lorena, state of São Paulo - SP, providing information on the profile of consumers, companies that compete in the market and influencing aspects in decision making in choosing the preferred establishment, thus providing the necessary subsidies for the elaboration of a possible business plan. The investigation was conducted through a bibliographic review and a market research applied to regulars in the commercial center of the municipality. The results obtained demonstrate the existence of a heterogeneous market, composed of consumers of the most varied ages, occupations and preferences for companies already established in the local commerce. The study also presented as the most relevant factors in the process of choosing the preferred restaurant the quality of the products, the service and the variety. Thus, the feasibility of proceeding to a detailed business plan, incorporating financial and marketing aspects, is concluded.

This sense of space becomes even more important in the present context, because of the rapid process of urbanization, which has negatively impacted the QoL in Urban areas.

Maintenance of dental and oral health is very important during the Covid-19 pandemic because the oral cavity is the gateway for disease germs to enter, therefore it is important for everyone to maintain oral hygiene and health. The goal is to avoid the possibility of damage and disturbance to the teeth and all soft tissues in the oral cavity. Covid-19 is a disease caused by a type of corona virus that attacks the respiratory system, so you are required to wear a mask to protect your nose and mouth. Indonesia is one of the countries exposed to Covid-19. Objective: To describe the effectiveness of dental health education with the zoom meeting application during the COVID 19 pandemic for junior high school students. Methods: This study uses a quasi-experimental method. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, with 68 samples used. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire about the maintenance of dental and oral health during the COVID-19 pandemic using a google form. Results: Knowledge before and after being given dental health education during the covid-19 pandemic was in the good category before being given education (61.8%). Then, after being given education there were (67.6%) in enough categories before being given education (36.8%) after being given education given education (30.9%) in the less category before being given education there were (1.5%) and after being given education there were (1.5%). Conclusion: there is an increase in knowledge of dental health before and after being given dental health education with the application of zoom meetings in junior high school children.

The Registrar Information System through SMS is design and develop a computer-based system that is able to provide a real-time information through SMS to students regarding of their academic records. It has a two-way interactive text messaging functionality in a Registrar’s office of Northern Iloilo Polytechnic State College Main Campus, Estancia, Iloilo. The architectural design used in this system is two-tier architecture. The developed system employed a descriptive and developmental research design. Respondents of the study were the 354 students enrolled officially in School Year 2016-2017 using a standard questionnaire International Standard Organization / International Electrotechnical Commission 25010. The Rapid Application Development Model was used in the Software Development Life Cycle. MySQL for the database, vb.net language and Windows operating system development environment. The usability of the feature of the developed system is Very Good in terms of delivering important academic information to every student. The performance of the developed system is fully functional when it comes to all the processes such as enrolling, encoding the grades, reliable and efficient to the students in sending/ receiving academic information provided to clienteles.

The primary purpose of this study was to provide a new way of keeping and retrieving documents in a digital form available in the Records Office and a computerized leave management system modified for the employees of Northern Iloilo Polytechnic State College Estancia, Iloilo. Specifically, this paper sought to design and develop the Record Management System with Document Control and evaluated its level of usability and performance as perceived by the target users. A total of 165 respondents of the said institution participated in the study which includes the five experts for School Year 2016-2017. The data were gathered through a survey questionnaire that primarily solicited feedbacks from respondents using the International Standard Organization/International Electrotechnical Commission 9126 Model. Descriptive research design was employed to describe the observations of the respondents based on the set objectives. The results revealed that the functionality of the system product, the level of usability as well as its performance were all interpreted as “Very Good”. This significant result implied that the respondents were impressed by the system features of the developed system in a convenient way.

The main purpose of this study was to provide a repository area for all registered vehicle in an organized and systematic filing, archiving and reports can be printed in real time. The system can prompt the users that the validity permit of radio frequency identification tag will be expired and need for renewal. Specifically, this paper sought to design and develop the Vehicle Management System Using RFID and evaluated its level of usability and performance as perceived by the target users. A total of 189 respondents participated in the study that was composed of five experts, three employees and 181 students, faculty and staff registered for School Year 2017-2018 using a standard questionnaire International Standard Organization/International Electrotechnical Commission 25010. Descriptive research was employed on this study based on the set objectives. Findings of the study, revealed that the functionality, the level of usability and its performance were interpreted as Very Good. These findings suggested that respondents were impressed in terms of easiest registration and monitoring of the registered vehicles that enters in and out of Northern Iloilo Polytechnic State College, Main Campus.

Intellectual disability is one of the most prevalent developmental disabilities of the children globally. As per the reports of the Disability Statistics in India 2017, which was updated from the census data of 2011, there are 1.5 million people with intellectual disability (Kumar, 2017). Though this number is alarming, there are less statistical datas available to describe about the family members, who is suffering because of intellectually disabled children.

The School of Institute of Information and Computer Studies is facing a problem in the submission of the documents every end of the academic year which are requirements of the Director of the IICS before signing the clearance of its faculty members. In order to fast-track the submission of the documents, an alternative solution to solve the current problem was developed, to be known as the “e-Document Archiving System with SMS Support”. Descriptive research design was used to determine whether the objectives of the study were achieved while Developmental research design was used for the developed of the software. The architectural design used in this system was n-tier architecture. Since the developed system will be deployed into local area network connecting office the IICS building, the concerned faculty where can upload and archived documents electronically. The Director could simple download and print documents in real time. A Short Message Service (SMS) Support, was also be used, as additional feature which would play a vital role as a communicating tool, that enables to send notification to concerned faculty members particularly, which required documents and deadline of submission. Based on the result and findings, uploading and downloading of required documents were accessible in real time. The usability of the feature of the developed system was operational and accessible with effectiveness and efficiency, and the performance was appropriate for the need of the users.

For this purpose, this study develops a managerial accounting information model that internal auditors and inspectors can efficiently use. It can also benefit decision-makers, business people, internal and external auditors, unions judges, and other governmental bodies to investigate or take decisions about workplace discrimination.

The study assessed the Effects of Discipline on Staff Performance in Local Government. The study was conducted in Giwa Local Government Area, Kaduna State. The study is a qualitative research method. Four research objectives were stated with four correspondent research questions and three assumptions. The instrument used for collecting data for the study was focus group discussion. Data were collected from respondents drawn from Giwa Local Government Area. Data collected were analyzed qualitatively. The study revealed that lack of discipline in the Local Government is sine qua non to the failures in the achievement of the desire, designed goals and objectives of Local Government and as such noted that Giwa Local Government should see discipline as an integral part of staff performance. The first finding showed that, Kaduna State Government through the adaptation of APER (Annual Performance and Evaluation Reports) has conditioned and discipline the staff as those discipline are partially promoted. The study also revealed that discipline has contributed to the development of Giwa Local Government as such recommends that certain incentives should be provided to energize the commitment of the disciplined staff so as to satisfactorily perform their assigned jobs in the Local Government Area.

The aim of the study was to study the relationship between aldosterone and the degree of obesity in patients with type 2 diabetes associated with chronic heart failure.The features of metabolic and hormonal disorders were studied in 65 patients with DM2 and CHF, including 29 women and 36 men.The patients were subjected to anthropometric studies (OT, OB, OT/OB, BMI). The interpretation of BMI indicators was carried out in accordance with WHO recommendations. In the studied groups of subjects, lipid fluctuations varied from normal values to their significant deviations in group 3 of patients with grade 2 obesity.The main physiological effects of aldosterone that are important in CHF are 1) sodium and fluid retention (activation of renal aldosterone receptors); 2) activation of aldosterone-dependent; 3) increased excretion of potassium and magnesium; 4) delayed excretion of norepinephrine.So, our results confirm the results of these studies and require further study.In 54.5% of patients with DM2 and CHF with obesity of the 1st degree and 81.8% of patients with obesity of the 2nd degree, an increased level of plasma aldosterone is determined, accompanied by an increased content of renin, p < 0.05

This study is related to the concept of public institution on principal agent relationship, namely the relationship between the Village Head and the Village Secretary in local government named Dolok Masihul. The number of villages studied were 44 respondents. Analysis statistical investigates relationship of research variable and using multiple regressions model. After analysing was known that formal contract had a significant positive effect on village funds allocation with value of 0.355. it means both head villager and secretaries had the competence and authority to carry it out, as Pascal (1997), Meinard (1997), Sarwoko (2010: 28) and Syofyan (2019). Hypothesis is accepted. Transaction costs have a negative effect and the hypothesis is rejected. Transaction costs refer to the governance structure as (Klein, 1999: 464-466), (Williamson, 1985). This result is different from the research by Syofyan (2019). Agency costs have coefficient value 0.072. It means agency cost significant to village funds. The hypothesis is accepted. Agency costs in this study are coaching and supervision that are positively related to the total allocation of village funds. This result is in line with Syofyan (2019). Furthermore, the principal agent conflict is significantly positively related to the allocation of village funds with a coefficient of 0.26. The hypothesis is rejected and this result differs with Syofyan (2019) who found a negative relationship. The principal agent relationship variable is accepted and this result is in line with Syofyan (2019). The variable of principal-agent relationship has significant positif effect to allocation of village funds with coefficient is 0.144. Hypothesis is accepted. This is in line with Syofyan (2019) who found that this positive relationship occurred because each party carried out its duties according to the applicable provisions. In the theory of public institutions, the principal agent relationship such as the Village Head and the Village Secretary needs to consider various aspects that support the success of the institutional relationship. Therefore, institutional research like this can be used as an initial basis in regulating development policies, especially village development.

The purpose of this Law is to regulate relations in the field of preschool education and upbringing. The following basic concepts are applied in this Law: state preschool educational organization — an organization funded and managed by the state and providing preschool educational and educational services in accordance with the state standard of preschool education and upbringing.

The study was conducted on the Spatio-temporal assessment of vegetation cover dynamics in the Kurmi Region of Taraba State, in the Savannah belt of Nigeria, using remotely sensed satellite data from LANDSAT and the Geographic Information System. The result shows that from 2010 to 2015, there was an increase in none vegetative areas (Builtup, Barren, Rock, sand) by 6.1% and a reduction of vegetation by 6.1%, also from the year 2015 to 2020, there was an increase in the none vegetative areas (Builtup, Barren, Rock, sand) by 17.9% and reduction of vegetation by 17.9%, while from 2010 to 2020 there was an increase in none vegetative areas (Builtup, Barren, Rock, sand) by 24% and reduction of vegetation by 24%. Thus, the results of this study confirm that Spatio-temporal assessment of vegetation cover dynamics using NDVI by LANDSAT TM, ETM+ and OLI data offer an excellent potential tool for characterizing and understanding vegetation changes occurring in transitional areas like the Kurmi region of Taraba State. Furthermore, the study recommended that alternative domestic energy sources, e.g. kerosene, be provided to the low-income earners to avoid over-dependence on fuelwood sourced from deforestation.

This experimental research study was conducted to compare the round-trip time of commonly used network cables among Internet Cafés in Estancia, Iloilo. Specifically, it focused on the brand names of network cable and the distance of cable from the access point to remote terminal. This study attempted to determine whether there was no significant difference among cables which differs from their brand names and distances. The research instrument used in gathering the data was the researchers-made survey form which was submitted to the three panels of experts for face validation before the instrument was given to Internet Cafe Owners and computer stores in the Municipality of Estancia. The statistical tools used were the frequency counts, percentages, rank, arithmetic mean, and chi-square. The results revealed that there were significant differences in the round-trip time between brands of network cables when tested at long and short distances from access point to remote terminal. It was found out that there was no significant difference in the overall round-trip time between brands of network cables when tested at long, medium, and short distances from access point to remote terminal. This simply showed that Internet Cafés can make use of any brand available in the market because they perform the same. However, among the three brands being tested it was also revealed that the best brand of network cables in terms of

Male infertility refers to the inability of a man to have children, after one year of regular unprotected sexual relations without contraceptive measures. The field of fertility has become a public health problem for some time, in this regard that it is now well established that the spermocytogram is a medical examination corresponding to the cytological and morphological analysis of spermatozoa, allowing the evaluation of male fertility. In our study, we compare the analysis of sperm with two automatons, the Sperm Class Analyzer (SCA) and the Spermolyzer, on 50 samples of sperm from voluntary men, with the aim of establishing the percentage of normal and abnormal spermatozoa and some specific anomalies, that is to say, the length and the identification of the shape. The results obtained indicate the accuracy and reliability of these automatons, showing more defined analyses with the use of the SCA, in contrast to the insignificant data rendered by the use of the Spermolyzer.

It is already well established that the percentage of normal sperm and specific sperm abnormalities has diagnostic value in vivo. The spermocytogram is an important part of the analysis of human semen, this kind of analysis, simple at first sight, brings real difficulties because the results from one laboratory to another are very relatively reliable. When analyzing abnormal sperm morphology, the observer has to estimate the respective size of the different spermatozoa or their components, the length of all the spermatozoa (too small or too big) and to identify the shape (sperm with a coiled flagellum, or no flagellum as an example). The objective of our work is first of all to make a comparative study of the results of the morphological evaluation of 50 semen samples between the manual technique versus the automated one (SCA) in order to find a possible correlation between these two techniques. According to the analytical stage of the manual and automatic results, the two latter led us to obtain significantly different percentages.

eaching science in informal learning environments (ILE) are of great importance for the science course. In this learning process, students behave like scientists and develop their high-level thinking skills. To establish a connection between daily life and natural sciences is another way to add ILE into formal education. In the literature, many studies declared a few teachers teach science in ILE. The purpose of this study, to determine the difficulties or problems faced by science teachers in the process of science teaching using ILE and what kind of solutions teachers offer about these problems or difficulties. The research was carried out by using descriptive research. The study group consists of 144 science teachers, selecting by easily accessible sampling method, one of the purposeful sampling methods. Ten open-ended questions were asked to the participants. The content analysis method was used to analyze the data. As a result, teachers had problems/difficulties in managerial-based, student-based, parent-based, ILE-based, school location-based, economy-based, curriculum-based and teacher skill and knowledge-based.

In the field of education, the presence of technology has helped teachers a lot in carrying out learning. Future education cannot only focus on cognitive aspects. To face various problems and challenges of the times in the future, students are expected to have much better attitudes, skills, and knowledge competencies, to be more creative, innovative, and productive. The purpose of this research is to analyze the feasibility and effectiveness of the development e-module Biology based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) on the material structure and function of plant and animal tissues to improve the critical thinking skills of students in class XI MIPA SMA that are valid, practical, and effective. The results showed that the e-module Biology based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) on the structure and function of plant and animal tissues to improve critical thinking skills of students in class XI MIPA SMA has a very valid category with a validator value of 89.33%, very practical 93.33% by Biology teachers and students with a score of 87.52% and the results of the effectiveness test of the CTL - based e-module showed that it was very effective, there was a significant difference between classes that used CTL - based e-modules and classes that did not use CTL - based e-modules . So, it can be concluded that the CTL-based Biology e-module that has been developed is very valid, very practical, and very effective.

The study examines the justification and logic of the four main factors why humanity fights against discrimination during the promotion: legally, humanitarian reasons, religious grounds, and administrative reasons. The study strongly suggests that discrimination during the promotion is against the law, religion, humanity, and efficient management. For these reasons, honest, fair people and organizations have to fight against discrimination; in the name of law, in the name of religion, in the name of humanity, and in the name of managerial efficiency. Discriminators, who are unfairly making the lives of innocent employees, their children, and partners hell, have to be punished by the law, religion, humanity, and management for realizing humanistic and holistic justice.

Background: Medical Officers are one of the key staff categories in the healthcare service. Globally there is high demand for medical officers and the government as well as private organizations have major task in retaining the services of highly trained and competent medical staff. Preventive health sector plays a vital role in the healthcare system. Medical Officers of Health (MOH) are the Medical Officers providing preventive health services in Sri Lanka. This study was carried out to explore the factors affecting retention of Medical Officers of Health in the preventive health sector in Sri Lanka. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out among Medical Officers of Health in the Colombo district which has 18 MOH Offices with 64 Medical Officers. A pre-tested self-administered questionnaire was used as the study instrument. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, correlation and regression analysis. Results: Of the 74 Medical Officers 64 responded with a response rate of response rate of 86.5%. Regression analysis showed that all four variables; recognition, work schedule, remuneration and responsibility are positively and significantly correlated with retention of Medical Officers of Health in the preventive health sector. The variable work schedule showed the highest impact to the retention of Medical Officers of Health. Conclusions: In order to retain trained Medical Officers of Health in the Sri Lankan preventive health sector, health authorities should address the factors that influence retention. If policy makers fail to address these factors the preventive health services will be negative impact due to shortage of key service providers.

The United Nations (UN) defines domestic violence as behavioural patterns in a relationship to gain or maintain power and control over an intimate partner. Domestic violence compromises the physical, emotional, mental, and economic well-being of victims. In worst-case scenarios, domestic violence can result in the death of its victims. The advent of the COVID-19 pandemic has been accompanied by increased reports of domestic violence, primarily against women. The World Bank affirmed that before the COVID-19 pandemic, domestic violence was a global pandemic affecting 1 in 3 women in their lifetime –a staggering statistic. In contrast to the conspicuous nature of most pandemics, the domestic violence pandemic is silent and difficult to detect. Consequently, victims find themselves trapped in a shadow pandemic. The socio-ecological model was proposed to address this problem to achieve a durable and practical resolution. A narrative review method was employed to gather the literature. Articles published from 1995 to 2021 were searched using Google Scholar, PubMed, and Elsevier. Original research papers and articles highlighting the factors influencing the rise of domestic violence during COVID-19 were selected. Supplemental information was retrieved from the websites of international health agencies. After a complete review, 36 sources that met the inclusion criteria were selected. The research identified several significant drivers of domestic violence during the COVID-19 pandemic: economic hardship in the setting of social unrest; low socioeconomic status; low educational attainment; mental illness; family dysfunction; and substance abuse. Other added risk factors included the shutdown of usual safe havens to curtail virus spread and the societal tolerance of violence against women.

Consumers awareness of behaviors affecting the environment is increasing, and many people choose to use eco fashion products. Based on the theoretical framework of fashion acceptance, developed by Sproles (1979) combined with empirical research, the author has built a theoretical framework with four shopping-oriented factors; fashion-oriented elements, environmental concerns, and environment-friendly behaviors. From the results of a survey of 450 Vietnamese consumers, all four factors positively influence the consumption behavior of eco-fashion products of Vietnamese consumers. The factor that has the strongest impact on consumer behavior of eco-fashion products is the fashion-oriented factor.

The decreased immunologic competency during pregnancy calls for intensified precautionary measures against corona virus disease among pregnant women. This Cross-Sectional study focused on pregnant womens perception of corona-virus pandemic and the precautionary measures they adopt toward curtailing the pandemic. The objectives of the study were to determine pregnant women’s view/beliefs about Covid-19 pandemic, the extent of their compliance with wearing of face masks and maintenance of social distancing. Multistage sampling technique was used to select 144 pregnant women from the primary, secondary and tertiary health facilities in Edo State out of the six States that constitute South-South Nigeria.

This study develops mathematical models for obtaining optimum flexural strengths of normal laterised(NLC) and high strength laterised concretes (HSLC). The models can be expressly used to evaluate the indirect tensile strengths of both types of concretes without going through the traditional methods of mix design. Optimum mixing ratios and optimum flexural strengths predicted are also supplied by the models. The three point load method was adopted for testing for the flexural strengths.

This study aims to determine the effect of Foreign Debt (X1) and Net Exports (X2) which describe exports and imports on the movement of the Rupiah exchange rate (IDR) against the US Dollar (USD) (Y1) and economic growth (Y2) in Indonesia throughout 1988-2019. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis using path analysis to determine the direct or indirect effect. The results showed that simultaneously, all dependent variables had a significant effect on the exchange rate (Y1) and economic growth (Y2). While partially, Foreign Debt (X1) and Net Exports (X2) have a positive and significant effect on the Exchange Rate (Y2).

This study aims to find out the preparedness of Higher Institution’s teachers and administrations in the conduct of online teaching. It was conducted at the Isabela State University during the Second Semester S. Y 2020-2021. There were 117 faculty members who served as respondents. Using a self-made questionnaire, the data was gathered along: Respondents Profile, Level of Frequency in the Utilization of Online Teaching Platforms, and Level of Frequency in the Encountered Problems as to Teaching –Related, and the Level of Utilization of Teaching Practices / Aids. A Descriptive Research using Quantitative and Qualitative approach was used in this study.

The paper aims to develop a new concept for stratifying cancer patients using their biomarker profiles. The study leading to HCC only assessed the diagnostic aspect of recurrent cancer. However, the next clinical evaluations will be geared towards predicting recurrence. Thus, the finalized platform should make it possible to determine marker profiles in a clinical context and to develop a set of rules for predicting the progression of the pathology, more particularly of recurrence. Such a predictive tool would be beneficial for the management of patients with bladder cancer. Indeed, the latter has a high rate of recurrence and improving the determination of the risk of recurrence would allow optimal and personalized care for each patient (Ahram M, 2008). Finally, this concept of personalized medicine thanks to the information obtained by the analysis of several parameters on our platform can be applied to other cancers or pathologies.Individual markers could play a role important diagnostic or predictive, and this clinical utility in the laboratories clinical automated manner. Foreign direct investment (FDI) is seen as a key element in fostering economic growth during the process of economic integration. Investors investment decisions may be influenced by a variety of issues, including the discomfort brought on by lengthy Customs clearance processes, a lack of management transparency, or the challenge of delivering commodities. This studys primary goal is to determine whether trade facilitation (TF) throughout the years 2007 to 2019 played a role in luring foreign direct investment to Vietnam. This study aims to determine the effect of conventional vegetable oil as feed additive, according to soybean oil, coconut oil, corn oil, and the effect of feed efficiency, feed conversion ratio (FCR) and fat content of red tilapia. Feeding trial in this study had used Completely randomized design (CRD), with 4 treatments and repeated 4 times. Red tilapia as much as 160 used initial weight of 25-40g/head, kept in an aquarium with a volume of 20 dm3 with density 2 ind./L, and fed a pelleted with addition vegetable oil for 40 days.

In the context of state budget cuts and increasingly fierce competition, the increase in student satisfaction with the financial management system is one of the revenue growth goals of the Vietnamese public university. This study aims to examine the factors affecting student satisfaction with the financial management system. The multiple regression model was applied to test the proposed hypotheses. Participating in the study were 200 students from universities in Hanoi.

Therefore, rapid and accurate laboratory test report issuing is considered as one of the most noticeable signs of a clinical laboratory. Reducing the delay of issuing laboratory test reports will increase patients and clinicians satisfaction, reduce the hospital stays and indirect costs associated. Ultimately it increases the better image towards the institution.

In Zambia, COVID- 19 and other health lifesaving information is not adequately disseminated in the indigenous languages understood by the majority citizens. In cases where this information is written in local languages, the terminologies are inexact due to wrong methods and approaches to translation. This study sought to establish the appropriate methods and approaches to translation and it has also attempted to come up with the most appropriate and correct Tonga terminologies for COVID-19. The study also recommended that African languages should be taught in medical tertiary institutions so as to equip health practitioners with African linguistic knowledge.

This study seeks to find the key factors that influence whistleblowing intentions. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to employees of the Badung Regional Government Education Center who are engaged in finance. The sample selection method used is purposive sampling. Reward, perceived seriousness of fraud, relativism ethical orientation, moral intensity and professional identity have a very important role in influencing a persons whistleblowing intention.

The situation of geriatric caregiving may seem easy in the eyes of many if the carers are regularly compensated. The purpose of this study was to explore the lived experiences of geriatric informal caregivers through the phenomenological approach to qualitative research. Typically, tasks in the household, at school or in the workplace are complicated by the simultaneous participation and involvement as a student or as a government employee. Thematic analysis of the transcripts showed that investing on priorities determine which tasks have to be accomplished first, and which comes next. All of the participants described the support extended by their family members, classmates/workmates, and the community people as both material and non-material which include emotional and moral support in the form of prayers, sympathy, and words of inspiration and motivation.

This study aims to examine the mediating role of intellectual capital and the moderating role of business age on the effect of financial inclusion on the performance of the MSME cluster. The sample in this study were members of the Batik Tulis, Processed Fish and Coffee Lelet MSME cluster in Rembang Regency, Central Java, Indonesia with a total of 134 respondents. Data collection techniques using survey methods with questionnaires. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. Data analysis uses structural equation modeling with the help of WarpPLS. The results of the study show that financial inclusion has no significant positive effect on MSME performance, intellectual capital has a significant positive effect on MSME performance and financial inclusion has a significant positive effect on intellectual capital. The results of this study also found evidence that intellectual capital plays an important role in mediating the effect of financial inclusion on MSME performance, and the age of the business can strengthen the relationship between financial inclusion and MSME performance

This study purposively investigated the perception of Guidance Designates on their primary role in the implementation of Homeroom Guidance in their respective school. The respondents of the study were Elementary Guidance Designates within Schools Division Office I Pangasinan identified through the snowball sampling technique. The responses of were gathered through an interview that delved into the perceived roles, challenges encountered, and coping mechanisms of Guidance Designates in terms of academic, personal-social, and career development domains of Homeroom Guidance. The researcher made use of the qualitative research method (allows researcher to examine people’s experiences in detail, by using a set of research methods, like interviews, focus group discussions, observation, content analysis, visual methods, life histories, and biographies, Torunoglu & Gençtanirim, 2015). For this study, the data were collected via interview. Interview is a good way to get a description of another’s perspective on events (Maxwell, 2013).

Digital transformation has been effectively applied in the public sector in Vietnam, especially the ministries. This fact has received significant attention from scientists. Therefore, to supplement the evidence of previous studies and enrich the research literature, this study examines the impact of factors of the digital transformation capacity of public servant of Vietnam Ministry of Home Affairs (Moha) on their task performance. This study was conducted through a cross-sectional survey using an intentional sampling technique (n=200). A multivariate linear regression analysis technique was applied to prove the hypotheses. Research results show that all three factors, digital technology capabilities, digital transformation ethics, and digital transformation leadership, have a positive and meaningful impact on the task performance of Moha public servant. Among them, the most substantial impact belongs to digital technology capabilities. Therefore, this study implies that the Vietnamese government and the Moha need to pay attention to formulating policies to improve the digital transformation capacity of public servant in digital transformation.

COVID -19 have affected over 200 million and killed about 5 million people globally. Many steps have been taken to understand its dynamics, etiology and infectivity. Several approach have also been taken to control and manage the virus, while vaccines have been developed to prevent the rate of infectivity. Because of complete lack of knowledge of the virus, shortage in vaccine supply etc, understanding how the virus spread per country may determine relativity in vaccine emergency. The aim of this study is to determine the relative global consequences of cumulative distribution of Covid-19, using the USA as comparism factor and cumulative covid -19 data of 31st October 2021. Data from one hundred and fifty four countries were selected based on their continents, countries and cases of infection. Data were obtained from United Nations Geoscheme and WHO. They were analyzed and compared to that of the United State of America (USA) value. Data analyzed showed that most Africa countries are least to be affected while Americans and Europeans appear to be most affected. Result from the study shows that Africa may have develop mechanisms to cope and survive the virus pandemic compared to other region of the world. Hence, vaccine priority may be considered base on infectivity and severity of infection.

Genetic engineering has paved way to enhance the breeding adroitness in developing transgenic plants. Multifarious approaches are being carrying out by researchers to increase yield of mulberry leaves throughout fluctuating climatic conditions followed by differing biotic and abiotic stress.

Operational Efficiency (OE) and solvency play an important role in the success of any enterprises. Therefore, studying the relationship between OE and solvency needs to be taken comprehensively and continuously in order to find out long –term solutions for increasing business effectiveness. This paper examines the determinants of OE and the relationship between OE and solvency of the logistics joint-stock companies (JSCs) listed on the Vietnam Stock market with answers for the above - mentioned issues. This study mainly investigates 30 listed logistics firms from 2014 to 2018. The findings of this study suggested that the relationship between OE and solvency of logistics JSCs is inversely correlation.

Flood risk management functions to reduce socio-economic and human resources associated with disasters. This study investigates flood risk administration for the socio-demographic progress of the Loko Community in the Song local government area in Adamawa State, Nigeria. The studys objective was to evaluate the compliance levels to flood risk management practices, challenges and interventions adopted to address the concerns. The study utilized a case study research design while targeting a population of 4,200 inhabitants comprising, 800 households, 20 NEMA staff and 40 ADSEMA staff. The findings indicated that floods significantly affects the socio-economic condition and livelihoods of the people. Moreover, the study found that institutional, cultural, and demographic factors limited compliance to FRM practices, necessitating the adoption of appropriate interventions. Therefore, it is necessary because homes far from flood-prone areas will mitigate the adverse flood effects. Similarly, the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives through the Extension Services should incentivize the communities through funding to increase the area cultivated on the upland to enhance the food security at the household level. There should be increased support programmes for the affected, and viable farmers prioritized for the support programmes. The study concludes that there is a need to develop better and appropriate measures to prepare and mitigate the effects of floods. Socio-economic problems such as poverty, livelihood profile, cultural views, the position of weaker social groups, and the rights of minorities and ethnic groups must be addressed urgently.

The swimming pool owned by the FIK UNY (Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta/ Faculty of Sports Science Yogyakarta State University) has sufficient facilities. However, the number of visitors could have been more optimal. This study aimed to determine the marketing strategy utilized by the swimming pool management. Marketing strategy is a helpful tool to achieve company goals with the help of the marketing mix. This study was qualitative descriptive research with data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. The samples were selected using purposive sampling, gaining forty-five people, consisting of one manager, fourteen employees, and thirty visitors. The data validity was carried out through perseverance and data triangulation through the source of methods and theories. The technical data analysis is done by reducing and presenting the data and drawing conclusions. The study results stated that the FIK UNY Swimming Pool product had met the needs of visitors, the ticket price was worth the facilities provided, and the location was quite strategic because it is in the middle of the city. Despite these, the promotion was appalling because it has not been vigorous. Furthermore, the results also showed that the human resources of the FIK UNY Swimming Pool were well-recruited and educated, the process implemented has been good, and the customer service for the visitors has also been good. So, it can be concluded that after the marketing strategy analysis was carried out, it was found that the particular promotional factors for the advertising were not carried out vigorously, so the number of visitors to the FIK UNY Swimming Pool was not optimal.

The strategy and implementation of learning is strongly influenced by the development of science and technology. So the technology that is currently developing must be integrated into the learning process to improve the quality of learning. One of the technology integration is E-Modul. E-Modul is a form of presentation of self-study materials that are arranged systematically into the smallest learning units to achieve certain learning objectives which are presented in an electronic format for each learning activity. E-Modules developed using a contextual approach will This causes students to get more meaningful learning, because they can relate the material to real everyday life. E-Modules are presented systematically so that they contain relevant text, images and videos. Therefore, Appypie Software is used in the development of the Plant Physiology E-Module. The purpose of this research is to produce an E-Module of Plant Physiology based on CTL on the material of Photosynthesis and Nitrogen Metabolism using Appypie Software which is valid, practical and effective. This type of research is development research using the Plomp model. The development phase of this model begins with the Preliminary Research Phase , Development or Prototyping Phase, and the Assessment Phase. The instruments in this study were in the form of a validity assessment sheet, a practicality assessment sheet, a skill and attitude competency assessment sheet and multiple choice questions to assess knowledge competence. The data analysis technique is validity, practicality using modified Likert scale scoring and effectiveness data using t-test using SPSS version 17. The results showed that the CTL-based Plant Physiology E-Module on the materials of Photosynthesis and Nitrogen Metabolism was very valid with a value of 92.21%. The practicality assessment by the lecturers scored 95% with very practical criteria and the student assessment with a score of 82.17% with very practical criteria. The results of the effectiveness test showed that the class that used the CTL-based Plant Physiology E-Module had a higher score than the class that did not use the CTL-based Plant Physiology E-Module, so the use of the E-Module equipped with pictures, animations and videos could help students understand material. It can be concluded that the CTL-based Plant Physiology E-Module that has been developed is in the very valid, very practical, and very effective category in improving student learning outcomes.

Womens socioeconomic independence was significantly impacted by their involvement in self help groups SHGs. By womens emancipation,we imply a procedure wherein women actively question traditional conventions in order to successfully advance their well-being. In Bihar state, this research attempted to tackle the issue of womens emancipation via self-help groups. Over 1 million Didis recipients are continually working to improve their lives by engaging with SHGs since SHGs nowadays are supporting womens capability in developing financial inclusivity, constructing community institutions, and associating with connected activities. Financing must be accessible to those required in India in order to break the pattern of deprivation and enable women to make significant contributions to the nations inclusive progress. Indias current rural credit structure doesnt meet the needs of the poorest people who want to move forward.

Although the number of universities in Vietnam has expanded significantly in recent decades, the quality gap in the countrys higher education has recently received much attention. Much qualitative research determined why more and more university graduates are out of work and university lecturers move to other jobs, which are the causes affecting job satisfaction, and work efficiency. However, there is still a lack of quantitative research to examine this issue. This study adds to the findings of previous studies.

This article presents the current state of the pasture ecosystems of the foothill and mountain zones, the preservation of their biodiversity and ways to increase the productivity of degraded pastures ensure stable development of animal husbandry, methods of improving degraded pastures through the sowing of long-term drought-resistant forage plants.

The primary purpose of this study was to provide a new way of keeping and retrieving documents in a digital form available in the Records Office and a computerized leave management system modified for the employees of Northern Iloilo Polytechnic State College Estancia, Iloilo. Specifically, this paper sought to design and develop the Record Management System with Document Control and evaluated its level of usability and performance as perceived by the target users. A total of 165 respondents of the said institution participated in the study which includes the five experts for School Year 2016-2017. The data were gathered through a survey questionnaire that primarily solicited feedbacks from respondents using the International Standard Organization/International Electrotechnical Commission 9126 Model. Descriptive research design was employed to describe the observations of the respondents based on the set objectives. The results revealed that the functionality of the system product, the level of usability as well as its performance were all interpreted as “Very Good”. This significant result implied that the respondents were impressed by the system features of the developed system in a convenient way.

The emergence of new symptoms in disaster situations prioritizes a collaboration-based approach to maintaining community order. All systems face the difficulty of human vulnerability when confronted with catastrophic occurrences such as disasters (Alexander 2005 Cutter 2005). In this situation, the police are vulnerable to becoming victims, creating limitations in the services provided to the community.

This study is to analyze: (1) The effect of achievement motivation on freestyle swimming achievement. (2) The effect of self-confidence on freestyle swimming achievement. (3) The influence between achievement motivation and self-confidence on freestyle swimming achievement. This type of research is quantitative with an ex post facto approach. The population in this study were high school students in Yogyakarta. Researchers did not examine the entire population, the sampling technique used random sampling totaling 150 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using ANOVA analysis. The results showed that (1) There is a significant influence between achievement motivation on freestyle swimming achievement, with a p-value of 0.000 <0.05. (2) There is a significant influence between self-confidence on freestyle swimming performance, with a p-value of 0.000 <0.05. (3) There is a significant influence between achievement motivation and selfconfidence on freestyle swimming performance, with a p-value of 0.000 <0.05.
